| We are very proud of our surgery, and love to show it off. We believe that pictures are much better than words. We do not show our team's faces as we feel that this invades their right to privacy. | ||

Our receptionists are friendly and try to help patients to feel at home.
Behind the reception desk is a wonderful displace of tooth brushes, flosses, and other dental health products. Opposite the reception desk is a display of our many post graduate certificates. |

 | The waiting room is just a short walk from the reception desk. Our reception desk is extra long, which means there is plenty of space for form filling, We try to offer as much privacy as we can, and we have 2 rooms where patients can ask questions or fills in forms in complete privacy. The walls of the practice are covered with copies of post graduate certificates for our dentist, hygienist and nursing staff. |

 | The waiting room is decorated in warm colours. There is comfortable seating, with couple of high back chairs too.
We have a large Notice Board with information for patients. There is a Television which we found patients enjoy more than background music. The TV normally has BBC 24 hour News. And for those who like to use a computer, we have wireless broadband Internet access (no charge). |

 | We have an Oral Health room where we can explain Treatment plans in private and give Dental Heath education. We have a display of the products we sell as well as a range of literature which we give to patients. The Double sinks are really useful when we are showing children how to brush properly. |

 | David's surgery is large and bright, with the latest equipment.
This surgery is always admired by dentists when they visit the surgery, as everything is close at hand, yet hidden away. The nurses side of the surgery is designed to separate the clinical area from the area we clean and sterilise. |

 | There is a large widescreen HD TV on the surgery ceiling, which allows patients to watch TV, as well as see the intra oral camera shots of their teeth and dental tissues. Our Intra Oral Camera and TV are an important tool in showing patients the nature and extent of their problems. |

 | We use a tray system for instruments which is designed for maximum cross infection control. We try to keep clutter to an absolute minimum. We also have the highest standards of training for all out team, with certificates of courses completed displayed around the surgery. We utilize all the latest and most effective barrier methods of cross infection control. |

 | We have the same 'Lazy Lilac' Colour scheme throughout the surgery. We have two autoclaves in the practice because experience has taught us that they do break down. All our nurses are trained in Cross Infection Control and we have 4 fully qualified Dental Nurses at the practice. |

 | Our X-ray equipment is modern and well maintained. We maintain very strict control of Radiation in the surgery. Our machines are inspected on a regular basis and we comply with all the legal requirements. We have 5 members of staff who are trained and qualified to take x-rays.

 | Our Practice has a full time hygienist as well as a part time Hygienist/therapist. We have had an hygienist since Dr Gilmartin took over the practice in 1987. This surgery is the envy of most hygienists who often complain about where they have to work. We use very latest Cavitron and Prophy Jets for cleaning teeth. These give fantastic results especially for patients with a lot of staining on their teeth. |

 | We have the same high standards of Cross infection control throughout the Practice. There are lots of post graduate certificates which patients can look at. Calming background music helps to keep the patients happy. We try to keep the surfaces clear to maintain the highest standards of cross infection control. |

Latest NewsWe have accepted an NHS contract to treat children only. We are only be able to treat children under 16 years old on the NHS. We will accept all children irrespective of whether we see anybody else in their family. All we ask if that the children and their parents are motivated, capable and committed to life-long high standards of dental health. We will continue to accept all other patients on a private basis. |
